Mission Statement

The purpose of the Virginia OB/Gyn Trainee Advocacy Day is to introduce advocacy to individuals interested in serving their patients beyond the bedside. Our mission is to teach rising physicians about reproductive health topics undergoing legislation in our state and how to incorporate advocacy into a medical career.

We are a group of medical students from all six medical schools in Virginia! We believe that advocacy is crucial to physicianship and want to teach other medical trainees about how to get involved in advocating for our future patients. Join us December 9th for a full day of speakers and workshops about advocacy!
